Introduction

The simple meaning of the term ‘Kitab’ is book. A book that contains the holy messages ofAllah is called Asmanee Kitab (the heravenly book)A big book containing Allah’s message is called “Kitab” and a booklet containing the sane is called saheefa.

Ohi or allah’s messages used to be revealed to the prophets, so that they could perform there responsibilities properly. The total collection of these holy messages is named as Asmance Kitab (the heavenly book).
